I love this place, I have not had s bad meal yet. Their sashimi delux rocks. If you want to try rolls the crazy boy is good. I usually prefer cucumber rolls, tuna, salmon rolls, simple with good tasting fish. I will occasionally order fish over rice. Snow crab and fatty white tuna is my all time favorite sushi pieces.  I will sometimes go with a friend and split a sashimi delux with a hibachi dinner. Sashimi is an awesome appetizer. Their dinners are pricey but the portion is humongous so you have enough left over for lunch the next day. Meal come with soup, salad, shrimp, rice, veggies, sprouts, main entree of your choosing, ice cream etc.... Lots of food I always get the calamari teriyaki. Which yes it's a steak house so you should get steak. I like squid and it's hard to find a place that cooks it to perfection in the Midwest. However everyone I have ever talked to who gets the steak likes combination plates if they don't like sushi. why go to a fancy oriental restaurant and not order at least one thing that's seafood. Well worth it. I go here at least twice a year it's an excellent place for birthdays or if your single and going Dutch with some friends. It's great entertainment.

I've been here for almost every birthday since I was 5, this is my favorite restaurant in the area. DEFINITELY the best sushi in McHenry County. I could drink the house salad dressing, the sake tuna carpaccio is EVERYTHING, and I've never had a bad sushi roll. The fish is always fresh and delicious. I recomment the mountain roll, and if sushi isn't your thing the calamari teryaki is delicious. I don't have a single bad thing to say about this place.

My sister and hubby have raved about this spot forever. I have to be honest I'm usually one that avoids Japanese steakhouses- not sure why... But I never thought they'd ever have good sushi. Let's just say this place is a winner and surprised me. GREAT sushi very fresh. Outstanding drinks and hibachi was wonderful.
We had Andy for our chef he was EPIC so great with the kids. Highly recommended and - get reservations or go early. It's PACKED and for great reason.

We so enjoyed dining here for dinner! Sat in a booth as we were only getting sushi. Service was attentive, and the food was amazing. Highly recommend the Moon River maki roll. Really loved the atmosphere too!
